We're proud to share that Kedy placed 3rd at TigerLaunch Istanbul, Princeton University's premier global startup competition.
TigerLaunch brings together some of the most ambitious student-led startups from around the world. Competing against dozens of talented teams, we presented Kedy's vision of efficient, specialized small language models — AI that organizations can own, deploy privately, and tailor to their domain without relying on large cloud-hosted APIs.
The judges recognized the importance of building AI that is lightweight enough to run anywhere, yet specialized enough to be genuinely useful in fields like science, healthcare, finance, and engineering. Our three-model family — Maxwell, Atlas, and Orion — each under 2GB and Apache-licensed — resonated strongly with the panel.
This result is a meaningful validation of the direction we've chosen. Efficiency and specialization, not scale for its own sake, are what will make AI practical for the organizations that need it most.
Thank you to the TigerLaunch organizers, our fellow competitors, and everyone who has believed in this work from the start. We're just getting started.
